Dylan R. Shea has experience in real estate, construction and property development. Dylan provides advice and guidance to company management on various business issues and strategies concerning construction, financing, operations, acquisitions, and dispositions, including corporate affairs, 1031 exchanges, and regulatory matters.
Dylan has experience in real property acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development, and financing. He has handled projects ranging in value from $50 million to $3 billion and is accustomed to conducting title and survey review, drafting and negotiating all manner of real estate, development and general business agreements, and providing advice on land use and regulatory issues. Dylan has worked on various real estate projects, such as REITS, retail commercial developments, senior housing, hotels, and industrial and leisure assets.
Prior to pursuing a legal career, Dylan worked as a licensed General Contractor and Subcontractor. He operated in several locations, including Denver, CO, Carlsbad, NM, and Augusta, GA. In this role, Dylan was responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and bidding, managing all subcontractors and trades through to completion. His expertise encompassed commercial build-outs, multi- family and single-family projects.
